Investment Team

Jerrold Newman (jnewman@willowridge.com) Tele: 212-369-2888 is the founder of Willowridge Incorporated and established its first investment fund, Amberbrook LLC, in 1995. Mr. Newman has been investing in private equity funds and mid-market direct deals for more than 20 years. Previously, Mr. Newman worked at Price Waterhouse as a CPA, and at Booz, Allen & Hamilton in its acquisitions practice. He spent over a decade investing in private equity for a family trust and subsequently worked for a buyout fund before founding Willowridge. Mr. Newman received an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth and a B.S. from Cornell University.

Luisa Hunnewell (lhunnewell@willowridge.com) Tele: 212-369-1220 joined Willowridge in 1996 after 16 years at Chemical Bank, where she was involved in a number of specialized industries including insurance, banks and securities firms, auto and tire, and agribusiness. Before leaving to join Willowridge, Ms. Hunnewell headed Chemical's insurance lending team. She holds an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth and a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.

James O'Mara (jomara@willowridge.com) Tele: 212-369-3211 joined Willowridge in 2002 as an intern and returned full time a year later. Previously, Mr. O'Mara worked in the Office of Investments at Hamilton College where he analyzed the performance of the college's private equity portfolio. He holds a B.A. from Hamilton College.

Michael Bego (mbego@willowridge.com) Tele: 212-369-8922 joined Willowridge in 2005 from McKinsey & Company where he was a consultant focusing on clients in the pharmaceutical, industrial, and financial industries. He has previous private equity experience at Linux Global Partners, a New York-based venture capital firm that focused on software investments. While there, Mike was a founder and President of a Linux software firm, Xandros. Prior to business school, he was a consultant at supply chain software firm, Numetrix, for four years before co-founding their Asia-Pacific practice out of Singapore. He received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a B.S. from Cornell University
